Job Description |
| Own ecommerce merchandising assortment and optimization of all product categories including product performance and margin/profit analysis. Executes the strategic direction for products sold online ensuring sales and merchandising objectives are met. Ensure all assets required for promotion execution are in place by agreed upon timelines for each event. Support the implementation of new processes and programs planned for the website as new functionality and page layouts are released. Develop strategies to test and optimize campaign efficiency and maximize channel ROI. Provide ongoing competitive and trend reporting to marketing team and product development team. Own business plan for the channel. Responsibilities: -Create programs to meet online sales objectives, monetizing online channel and assisting with managing online marketing activities thatdrive sales. - Strategic lead on ongoing product and service mix optimization. - Ensure all assets required for promotion execution are in place by agreed upon timelines. - Maintain annual merchandising calendar and ensure site content maximizes sales. - Establish KPIs and measure and analyze performance of all online sales initiatives. - Research and recommend new third party tools, features, etc to improve the customers’ web experience and online sale. - Provide requirements to web development team on recommending merchandising site enhancements. - Assist with site optimization efforts. - Partner with Online Acquisition team to determine which products will be featured in acquisition activities to increase conversion. - Partner with Online Experience team to determine the optimal look and feel of the website Qualifications: -5+ years of experience with a minimum of four years of online merchandising and marketing experience. - Demonstrated skills in web marketing and merchandising. - Strong industry knowledge of direct marketing fundamentals, and knowledge of underlying technologies that make eCommerce effective are required. -The ideal candidate will also have experience in product management, brand marketing and ecommerce. - Strong financial skills and budget management experience. - A demonstrated sense of design and understanding of how to consistently convey a brand image in the execution of all elements of the site is highly desirable. - Demonstrated leadership and management experience - Excellent project management, analytical, problem solving, and verbal/written communication skills also required. |
