The IFRS/US GAAP Conversion Application Expert will lead the successful creation and launch of a powerful new research toolset that will further establish R&G as the market leader in IFRS online information and worktools.
The Expert/Editor will take the lead in the design and development of the online conversion application enables efficient, effective disclosures and analysis of financial information for entities operating in multinational situations.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage editorial effort through product development and launch; set priorities and ensure goals and schedules are met.
  • Set industry-leading standards for product quality and maintain them
  • Design and build a conversion application that incorporates US GAAP and IFRS taxonomies and produces comparable financial statements from financial statement inputs

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years experience technical writing on accounting standards
  • 3-5 years experience with online research product development
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting with CPA, JD, or MBA.
  • Proven supervisory experience and success
  • Thorough knowledge of standard-setting process of IASB, FASB, and the SEC.
  • Strong accounting standard research skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and under short deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills - ability to work with colleagues at different organizational levels in different groups (e.g., product management, sales, product and platform technology)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently review draft copy to maintain quality standards, check facts and sources, ensure consistency of writing style
