Summary

The primary goal of this position is to facilitate the quoting and sales of Landmark Design specialty products and legacy products. This includes, but is not limited to, quoting custom projects, tracking orders through the system, creating and maintaining relationships with sales representatives, creating marketing themed booklets for sales force, sending CAD files to representatives for top view drawings, along with other tasks as needed. This position will also take the initiative to gain knowledge of Landmark Design/GT products and processes

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Promotes the Company's mission and values-based culture through the successful development of Playworx products.
  2. Generate BOM's and formal quotes for new projects
  3. Requests quotes and enter PO's for custom purchased items
  4. Provide product costing and quotes
  5. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  6. Ideal candidate will be highly organized
  7. Aide with marked up top views for order processing
  8. Communicate directly with customers
  9. Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor

Education and/or Experience

  • Associates Degree in Design or Business; or 2 years of relevant experience
  • Must have strong mathematical and numerical skills

Travel

Minimal travel required (5-10%)

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Reasoning Ability

Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Computer Skills

  • Proficient in Excel
  • Extensive computer experience with a basic knowledge of 2D and 3D design and visualization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite is helpful (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
