Responsibilities

  • Direct the region's sales activities that result in meeting annual growth and revenue objectives
  • Lead/manage the Region Clinical Manager, collaborating with them on the direction and development of the region clinical consultant team members
  • Directs the sales performance in specified region
  • Identify, hire, retain and develop talent through proactively managing performance
  • Develop strategies for launching new accounts and greater penetration in existing accounts
  • Establish effective communications with executives and managers across the company to ensure proper sensitivity to the needs of sales
  • Lead difficult sales negotiations, especially with larger prospects
  • Collaborate with cross functional departments within the organizations in order to support region growth
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • BS or advanced degree, MBA Preferred
  • 5+ years of high-performance experience in the medical device cardiovascular space
  • 5+ years of management experience of a field commercial team or 2+ of Abiomed Associate Regional Director experience
  • Ability to gain cooperation of others and lead team members; exhibits ability to lead a diverse team with strong emotional intelligence
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders internal and external
  • Demonstrated critical thinking in fast paced environment
  • Ability to exercise judgment in selecting, methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly, effectively, and frequently (oral and written)

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $150,000

  • The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
  • This position is eligible for a car allowance through the Company's Fleet program.

* Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

* Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

* This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.

* Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

* Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year

* Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year

* Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year

* Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
