SNG has an immediate opening for a qualified Payroll Specialist
Reports to Payroll Manager
Current Employee Count: 850
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review timesheets for accuracy and following up as needed with internal teams and leaders
- Process biweekly payrolls in an accurate and timely manner
- Complete onboarding of new hires into payroll systems
- Works closely with other payroll team members
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now and payroll processing
- Knowledge of FLSA and other federal, state, and local employment laws
- Multistate payroll experience
- ERP system experience
- Must be able to work with confidential material/information
- Must be analytical and have above average organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to prioritize and work independently or as a team member as needed
- Demonstrated proficiency in the utilization of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong customer service abilities
Desired Skills:
- ADP WFN experience
- MS SharePoint experience
- Multistate payroll experience
- Experience posting Labor in different ERP systems (Deltek Costpoint knowledge a plus)
- Government contracting environment experience a plus
- Analytical and conceptual thinking - using logic and reason, creative and strategic
- Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated capacity for attention to detail and accuracy of work product
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of information, and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information
- Able to work independently
In compliance with various state requirements, the salary range for this role is $50,000 to $55,000 annual with an annual performance-based bonus. However, Seneca Holdings considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to: the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
