This is a Hybrid position at our new Project Delivery Offie in Amherst, NY.

Air Products owns and operates a diverse portfolio of gas plants, and develops innovative technology, applications, and equipment solutions serving over 30 different industries. We also internally perform the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) of our own plants within our Americas Project Delivery Organization. We are seeking a Project Manager to support our team located at our Buffalo, NY office location.

The types of projects led by this role are primarily related to design and construction of new Air Separation Units, but may also include retrofits, or infrastructure projects (Power, utilities, buildings, modules, etc). Typical travel is expected to be ~25% on average over the project duration (as needed) to engineering offices, supplier shops, module yards, construction site.

As Project Manager, you will be accountable and responsible for leading medium to large capital projects and ensuring successful delivery of project commitments. You will form a strong team across multiple functions and regions and provide them with clear direction to navigate through the entire project life cycle (Kickoff, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Start-up, Handover to Customer, and Warranty period). You will lead and coordinate various internal and external stakeholders to achieve on-time project completion, within budget, to the satisfaction of the customer, and within acceptable levels of quality without compromising safety and reliability. The role requires periodic preparation and presentation of project status reports to upper management and the customer (if applicable). The reports include safety information, project execution progress, cost and schedule forecasts, and risks. You will be expected to succinctly articulate issues and challenges as well as proposed mitigations and resolutions. You may also support project proposal work by developing the scope and execution strategy, identifying risks, vetting the schedule and costs, and leading review with key stakeholders.

Education and Licensing Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Minimum 15 years of relevant industry experience.

The expected pay range is $166,140 - $199,360 plus bonus. This is the range that we reasonably expect to pay for this position as individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
