Job Description

Responsible for performing HR related duties on a professional level and working closely with the HR Manager on employee relations, training, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment, and employment law compliance. In addition, this position will be responsible for managing the Learning Management System for the division.

  • Responsible for facility engagement along with HR Manager (Coordinate employee events, activities volunteer program, engagement team leader, etc.)
  • Responsible for payroll process both weekly and monthly
  • Supports recruitment by creating requisitions, posting jobs, screening resumes, and interacting with candidates. Facilitates new employee orientation.
  • Counsels management in appropriate resolution of routine employee relations issues. Investigates employee complaints, making management aware of such complaints and ensuring timely and equitable resolution.
  • Responds to employee questions/problems regarding payroll, benefits, and other related Human Resource matters.
  • Prepares and analyzes site reports on timesheet hours, overtime, team member count, hiring, etc.
  • Coordinates employee events and activities as well as community service endeavors.
  • Schedules, launches, and tracks completion of training in the Learning Management System (LMS). Works with division sites and content owners to standardize and systematize training via the LMS. Helps ensure training content is accurate, relatable, and appropriate for the intended audience.
  • Gains and maintains familiarity with LMS course offerings. Helps recommend training content to team members and managers to support our team members' career development needs.
  • Helps train others in LMS capabilities and content. Develops reference guides and standard work for frequently performed processes.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or other related field, and two or more years of related experience, including one or more years of training/HR systems experience.
  • Must possess the ability to adapt easily to changing priorities, function well in a fast paces environment, and handle a high degree of confidential information
  • Demonstrated computer literacy, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job
  • Ability to function well with minimal supervision and considerable independence
  • Ability to understand business practices and human resources management, analyze problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions
  • Ability to effectively communicate with management and coworkers and interact respectfully with all the levels of the organization
  • Knowledge or relevant, local, state, and federal labor regulations and agencies. Ability to respond to complaints/inquires from regulatory agencies
  • Demonstrated effort toward self-improvement by gaining new knowledge/skills
