Acara Solutions is seeking an HR Manager for a manufacturing company located on Grand Island.
The HR Manager will be responsible for all onsite HR matters including but not limited to employee relations, employee retention, recruitment, on-boarding, payroll (ADP Workforce Now), compliance, affirmative action and HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors) management.
  • Recruiting: Manages full cycle recruitment for Buffalo. Works with managers to determine needs and fit. Maintains the Open Position report and ensures compliance with process and obtains appropriate approvals.
  • Payroll: Maintains and processes payroll as required in ADP.
  • Facilitates site personnel HR and benefits questions.
  • Onboarding: Conducts effective on-boarding, ensuring new talent is welcomed to the organization.
  • Manages and updates the HRIS system (Success Factors) for the Buffalo location. Runs reports as requested.
  • Reviews job descriptions and updates as needed.
  • Coordinates internal training sessions and survey results.
  • Consults with managers and employees on work-related issues such as disciplinary actions, terminations, employee relations, etc.
  • Acts as a coach, advisor, and facilitator to management.
  • Researches and recommends policy changes and implementation based on best practices approach.
  • Investigates employee concerns and makes appropriate recommendations on the resolution.
  • Ensures compliance with all appropriate state, federal, and country laws.
  • Participates in the development and compliance of the company's Affirmative Action Plan.
  • Conducts compensation analysis ensuring internal and external equity.
  • Conduct exit interviews and track various HR trends and respond to them accordingly.
  • Maintains integrity of employee files, systems, and information.
  • Interprets HR policy issues and provides guidance on employment laws and regulations.
  • Works on special projects and initiatives with the SVP, HR
  • Participate in HR portion of integration of new acquired subsidiaries.
Target salary $ 90-115k
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources
  • Minimum of five years of Generalist Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in payroll processing

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

  • HR Certification preferred
  • SAP SuccessFactors experience preferred
  • ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
