Job Description:

The Senior CADD Designer performs the primary production operations for Civil 3D production and management of Draftsman. The position applies expertise to produce construction plans, graphics, 3-dimensional exhibits and other related documents that optimize all design elements ensuring adherence to land development code and Prosser CAD Standards. The Senior Designer performs specialized research, executes projects and delivers high quality work products based on a mentality of a life-long learner. Specific duties include:

• Produce work product which may include construction plans, 3-dimensional exhibits, and visualization products.
• Collaborate/coordinate with team members on technical topics to adhere to schedules, coordination of design among different disciplines and optimize designs.
• Execute production processes and assemble deliverable packages.
• Research and apply information pertaining to Civil 3D software design packages and tool kits.
• Participate in and support quality assurance/quality control processes.
• Adhere and encourage the use of Prosser CAD Standards
• Provide technical support and training to CADD Drafter.
• Participate in client, agency and consultant meetings as required.
• Perform field reviews and verifications.
• Provide support to the Civil Engineer ensuring regular communication regarding project performance, providing reports and data and coordinating technical items to successfully execute projects.
• Actively contribute ideas, expertise and recommendations based upon industry knowledge.
• Organize and transport materials which may include samples, supplies, plans and equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate's degree in civil design, related field or equivalent relevant work experience required.
• 8 or more years of experience in design and drawing production in related field.
• 2 or more years of experience managing projects preferred.
• Expert knowledge and continued pattern of learning of Microsoft Office applications and Autodesk Civil 3D preferred.
